@GearyAvril @aghadahurler The original story was why Imokilly won't enter a football team. A player on last year's whatsapp group (40+ players) found out about it on the echo. And he was never consulted, so the question is, who was consulted and why wasn't there more correspondence to the actual players.

@GearyAvril @aghadahurler But the board did initially try to put killeagh 2 teams into Junior A hurling, and only when challenged (even though the information was freely available) were forced to get clarification.. Correct?

The GAA really needs to lead from top down here. Take over the expenses and start limiting contact hours. Is the spectacle of intercounty going to get much worse if we limited sessions to max 5 over a 2 week period. Easily save 25% straight away..

@aghadahurler The disregard Imokilly board has for football is evident. Why did Glanmire decide to leave for Seandun? Even the disregard for county bye laws last year telling Glenbower they had to put 2 teams in Junior B.. Didn't happen in the hurling.. Very much 2 tier from the board.
