Just realised that Rob has reached semis twice now in both formats on his first try and has made pretty good squad and XI selections so he deserves credit.
Well done Rob 👏
He wasnt making runs...
Was getting trolled...
But took it all in his stride and still gave his all by contributing in all other facets like fielding, captaincy and bowling...
Then stands up in knockouts to lead from the front on a tricky pitch...
Salute to you my captain 🫡
On this day, 1 month ago, the most clutch SA player of all time made the greatest ever ODI 100

Quinton de Kock's decision is why I have so much respect for David Miller. He's arguably a better t20 player than Qdk and is one of the best t20 players in the world. He could easily just spend the rest of his career playing leagues.

MI would have chased this had Sir Aiden Markram not prevented the collapse and rotated strike to the hitters so that they could reach the total. The glue of SRH ✨
Chin up champ. U made ur fans & ur country proud. 45+ ave @ 110+ SR including the fastest WC century against full members. U gave ur all out there in the field yesterday. That passion, that determination. A true leader. 2027 WC under Markram we will be there. Sun will rise again.
Good chance for RCB to either pick Sean Abott/Adam Milne/Chris Jordan
If I was there in RCB camp, I'd also check Blessing Muzarabani.

Sign of a humble and down to earth person when they treat lesser known people with respect and talk to them like a fellow human. Notice how he tipped his hat. Not only a great cricketer but a great human too 🙏
The most impressive thing about Stubbs is that hes almost mastered the role of finisher already. Taking the game deep due 2 no batting after him & then smashing the bowlers when the time is right.
Hes got that maturity & I see him filling the hole left by Miller when he retires
Points from the match:
- Baartman is here to stay
- Reeza is locked in to open the batting at the WC
- Qdk is finished
- Good move by Rob to not have Rassie and Ngidi in the main squad
This is an underrated part of Klaasen's game which not a lot of people know. I've said this before but some might think he's all about power hitting but he's one of the best rotators of the strike as well
"Clutch" is an overused word. What does it mean 2 b clutch? Is it the ability 2 perform on big stages? I'll tell u what clutch is.
2013 CT semi:56*(51)
2014 WT20 semi:23*(12)
2015 CWC semi:49(18)
2023 CWC semi:101(116)
If u performed in every ICC knockout, u r clutch, you are:
Can we make a rule where if you don't actually watch SA cricket and only see their players in IPL/ICC events, you're not allowed to talk about SA cricket? The takes I see on this app man... 🙄
Bc Ottneil Baartman bowls 5 full tosses in an over and finishes the match for England.
The quota system needs to stop in Sports otherwise it will keep hurting South Africa.
Man if clown SRH sacks Markram for Cummins I will start my agenda against Cummins and SRH.
SRH finishes bottom of the table and Cummins gets smacked every match 🤞
He's one of the last left of the old guard yet uses that experience to be a consistent performer for SA & guide youngsters, instead of using it for himself to be a t20 mercenary. He never got "tired" and retired early. He continues to be a loyal servant of SA & we love him for it
One of the things that goes under the radar about Klaasen is that some might think he's only about power hitting but I've known for a while now that he's also really great at rotating the strike when he's not hitting boundaries. Even in ODIs as well.
A plot on how batsmen fared in middle overs in the 2023 IPL, facing min 120 balls. Have a look at this. Also, do drop a follow, if you like the work, takes efforts to do this work. Have a nice day. Likes and shares are appreciated.

Even with having to deal with politics, quota, CSA, constant heartbreaks in WCs (especially 2015 and more recently 2022), he still has been a pillar of SA's middle order when they need him the most.

We no longer choke in pressure situations and have now qualified into the semis for the first time in a decade
THIS IS MARKRAM ERA
There is a WK opener available that just got the highest runs in the SA20 with a SR of 174 and already plays in a yellow team that literally has "lion" in its name. Take a hint!
44 year old Imran Tahir got emotional after captaining Guyana Amazon Warriors to their first ever CPL title. Not many believed in him after being named captain
Man some SRH fans might be the dumbest cricket fans I've ever seen. I'm really seeing serious takes that Cummins is a nailed starter despite being a shit t20 bowler and also saying to not play Markram despite him being one of the best t20 middle order bats in the world
And to think he did this without the advantage of powerplay restrictions. Making a <50 ball hundred in a WC after a fast start isn't everyone's cup of tea
I expected guys like Nortje, Miller, etc to do well so I'm most impressed by how outstanding Baartman has been despite his international career consisting of only a single t20i prior to the WC
Cummins was the worst AUS bowler in this match 😂
It will take 10 births for inferiority complex Indians to stop idolising AUS players just because they keep owing them in finals
An SA player was your biggest match winner last year 🤫
SRH few nibba fans criticized Head now he is giving quick starts,
criticized Cummins he delivered with the ball in both the matches in tin sized stadiums,
it will take 10 births for chokers SA players to match AUS players in match winning ability......!
There's actually an agenda against Markram man. How tf is he getting hate 4 making 32 at 190 SR. Abhishek scored at 150 SR yet nobody is going after him (not that they should). He literally won b2b trophies for your franchise. Have some shame
I'll always be there for you champ
I feel Klaasen will be our most important bastman for the final since he has great matchups against IND's 2 best bowlers in Bumrah and Kuldeep. Never been dismissed by either of them in all t20s and strikes at 170+ against both. If he has a good game we probably win the match
