That's false: science shows us correlations with mental states and the brain, and physicalists draw a philosophical conclusion (not a scientific one) about the mind being dependent on the brain. However, these scientific findings are consistent with idealistic monism as well.

It's easy to make sense of material objects as being mental objects, just like how it's easy to make sense of objects in dreams as an experience in the mind.
