@RoryStewartUK I have to confess I am disappointed that some concern over tariffs on our national drink (not the orange one) here are leading to a bit of cap-in-handedness from Scotland. Even more disappointing is the inescapable connection on which it is based.

@RoryStewartUK Wasn’t it acknowledged years ago that tests claiming to measure IQ are flawed in that they tend to be culturally biased? Stupidity, such as is evident in the accusation, is more easily recognised. Good character and integrity are of immeasurable importance. No contest there.

@simon_schama I used to think Trump’s level of understanding was akin to that of “the man in the street” But he is not disadvantaged by lack of access to information. He is in control of it. Sorry for the comparison that insults the man in the street.
