There is currently NO TRANSPARENCY and no apparent oversight of DOGE. With as much power as they have been given, by Presidential order only, this is very wrong. Our democracy was not set up to be run this way & it is wrong to be doing it now.

If you are President of the United States, even if you ARE thinking this, you should have the wisdom and impulse control to not send it out to the world on social media. JFC.
Imagine being a nearly 80-year-old man, twice-impeached, four times indicted, and still losing sleep over a pop star who just wanted to watch her man play football.

@dawso007 Public school? I was a public school kid and my reading requirements throughout were very light. And I didn’t take courses in college that required much general reading either. I’ve only read 1984 and Animal Farm in the last few years.

@wundarcow @TomcatJunkie So much of life is timing, even for weapons systems. If we’d had the drone attacks like recently in the Red Sea & on Israel *before* the decision was made to retire the F-14, I think that very well could have happened. What do you think @RSE_VB ?
