4 of the last 5 Coach of the Year’s have been fired. The lone one remaining: Tom Thibodeau.
BREAKING: The Phoenix Suns dismissed coach Monty Williams, sources tell ESPN. Williams was a two-time NBA Coach of the Year in four seasons with Suns — including a trip to 2021 NBA Finals. Suns lost 6-game series to Nuggets in Western Semifinals.

@BallUpTopBrad Yes because of people like you pushing narratives for your favorite team. There are 1000 ways to prop up the Celtics that actually make sense, this isn’t one of them.

Josh Hart (6'4") had the 6th most rebounds in the NBA in 2024. Do you understand how crazy that is?.
2024 LEADERS & CELEBRATING THE PAST 25 YEARS OF HOOPS. As 2024 ends and 2025 begins, the game does not stop. But before players start racking up points, boards, assists, steals, blocks and threes, let’s take a look back at the players that led the way in 2024. FIVE KEY

@BallUpTopBrad Yes ?? Jayson Tatum’s rebounding might be lucky to be in the top 30 of relevant topics for why the Celtics are amazing.

@BallUpTopBrad If you’re defense to someone disagreeing with you about Jayson Tatum is they don’t know ball and are a hater then you need to reevaluate.

@47cooked Because it doesn’t make sense for everyone to? The Celtics want the ball in tatums hands to grab and go in transition.

@BallUpTopBrad Who said it wasn’t important? It’s just not close to the most important thing he does.

Knicks NBA ranks:. 9th in DREB% .4th in overall REB%.11th in Opponent FG% within 5 ft of rim.13th in Opponent FGM/G within 5 ft of rim. What are we talking about?.
The Knicks are routinely manhandled on the offensive glass and are currently bottom half of the NBA in defensive field goal percentage at the rim, but sure let’s trade Mitchell Robinson.

@ratedpending It completely is, that doesn’t make him a better rebounder than someone else because it makes sense for him to grab them and go.

Same dude who clowns the Mikal trade LMAO.
I think some NBA teams are too worried about losing trades. When you’re a contender / win now mode you have to make trades that you may “lose”, you have to overpay etc. you get to make the savy fleeces when you’re rebuilding, can’t be a concern when winning.

@andrewderrico19 baseball is never like that thankfully, plenty of dodgers superteams have lost in the first round.

@47cooked What other wings are the point guard for their teams? Lebron does it, paolo does it, giannis, luka.

These games don’t actually matter. You need depth in the playoffs and if you don’t play the young guys now you won’t be able to when it matters.
I have a serious Q for the min police. Would you rather more Payne Shamet & Precious & just never be in control of this game at all in a loss just the same but our starters all around 35?. Or do you think if we played more Payne Shamet & Precious we would have more likely won?.

Anywhere but Miami is crazy😭.
ESPN story with @WindhorstESPN: Jimmy Butler has indicated to the Miami Heat that he wants the team to trade him and is open to playing anywhere other than Miami.

There's a clear gap between the Celtics/Cavs and Knicks, and then another clear gap between the Knicks and everyone else in the East. They're 7-3 against the 4-8 seeds in the East, and 0-4 vs the Hawks and Bulls who are 9 and 10. Neither of those teams are close to NYK.
Assuming this 28-point lead holds, the Knicks' record break down:. 0-5 against top-2 teams in each conference. 7-7 vs. 4-10 in East (postseason teams). 3-1 vs. 4-10 in West (postseason teams). 13-1 vs. the bottom 5 teams in each conference.

@KDanishefsky He does nothing well besides isolation scoring and that’s just made to be a 6th man.
