@nick__whip @metalgearsa1ad I mean that last episode in particular was painful watching đ
but I thought season 2 was a big improvement.

@metalgearsa1ad In a perfect world I think thatâs what everyone wouldâve wanted. But actors scheduling, set hire, production costs etc wouldâve made this impossible almost.

@coffeenfantasy @robinhobb I had the same experience with this book. I put it off for 20 years! WHY?! Unbelievable book!

@WhitecloaksO @TheWheelOfTime @TGAuthor I disagree with you on the first point. The book goes back to the braid again and again, especially when she combs out the braid later on.

@WhitecloaksO @TheWheelOfTime @TGAuthor Again I feel there is a difference between a young adult and someone who has just passed into young adulthood. Jordan thought it important enough to mention Egweneâs newly earned braid, so why shouldnât the show?

@WhitecloaksO @TheWheelOfTime @TGAuthor Rand is 19, and Egwene is 2 years younger. So theyâve aged her up a couple of years. Thereâs a difference between a 19 year old woman and a 25-26 year old.

@WhitecloaksO @TheWheelOfTime @TGAuthor Well no. Theyâve aged them up to late teens (18/19). The actress playing Egwene was 25/26 in the first season.

@WhitecloaksO @TheWheelOfTime @TGAuthor I should remember this because Iâve not long re-watched it, but wouldnât this have been her very first scene. So it wouldâve been introducing her, whilst telling us a fair bit (young girl coming to womanhood etc).

@WhitecloaksO @TheWheelOfTime @TGAuthor I appreciate that, and no one wouldâve loved my Tam fighting trolloc time more than I, but Egwene, as one of the main characters, also needed some time to be developed. Whereas we werenât going to see Tam again for the best part of 2 seasons.

@WhitecloaksO @TheWheelOfTime @TGAuthor I donât see the harm in the show depicting a sort of ceremony into womanhood.

@WhitecloaksO @TheWheelOfTime @TGAuthor Like I said, Iâd have happily dropped the river scene in place of this. Doesnât the whole âwomenâs circle businessâ plot lean into the point you made to me the other day around the main theme of the books is men and women working together?
