Vance is incredibly relatable to Americans with families. He just got off a long flight with his kids, clearly exhausted and in pajamas. Elon Musk and Vance are among the most powerful people on earth, yet are single-handedly normalizing children in public. Incredible.

I met him only a couple times, and I struggled with whether to call him "Rep" or "Judge." But Rep. John was everything they say he was: gracious, thoughtful, and committed to our state. He leaves behind a long record of public service and a tremendous family. He earned his rest.
