Unintended consequences of abortion bans is gov't overreach. Countries where abortions are illegal end up investigating women for merely suffering a miscarriage! I don't want my wife/daughter/sister going through that! I abhor abortion, but like privacy and FREEDOM more.

Most people abhor abortion, but also believe in limited government. An unintended consequence of abortion bans is government overreach. Sadly, whenever abortion is illegal, then women are at risk of being investigated for merely suffering a miscarriage.

Our ward does it every quarter or so. Very casual with easily prepared foods like chips, fruit, cheese, sandwiches, etc. I wonder if someone complained because they felt like they were expected to put too much work onto organizing it

Peacemakers debate IDEAS and don't attack people who disagree with them. Example: "I think abortion is wrong (an idea) because a, b, c, d." vs "you (attacking the person) are a bad person if you don't agree with me"

Dem members abhor abortion as much as we R's do, but choose to vote Dem because they believe that Dem policies REDUCE the need for abortions in the first place (i.e., social safety nets, increased access to birth control, etc.) Dems vote for carrots, R's vote for sticks.

One of my many concerns with abortion bans is that it leads to government overreach. Do you want your wife, daughter, sister being criminally investigated after suffering a miscarriage? Horrible consequences!
Sister Chittister (a nun): “...(being) opposed to abortion... does not make you pro-life....if all you want is a child born but not a child fed, not a child educated, not a child housed...That’s not pro-life. That’s pro-birth."
Is it possible our spirits have the opposite gender of our flesh?
As I continue to explore the nature of spirit and matter, one question that arises is whether our spirits might actually be the opposite gender of our physical bodies. While this idea is not commonly discussed in

No candidate is perfect. Yes, Kamala has a few bad policies, but IMO the good outweigh the bad. Plus, anything is better than trump et. al.!

Harris is pro-family/pro-child. EXAMPLES: pro IVF, pro child tax credits, pro paid maternity/paternity leave, pro school lunch, pro low-cost day care, etc.

I've never been "for" Biden, but I am 100% AGAINST Trump. I'll vote for a corpse to keep TFG from ever setting foot in the White House again!

Most seek abortions due to financial instability. And so, overall, Kamala's $$ policies will PREVENT abortions. With more $$ in their pockets, people will be more likely to keep the child.

A Constitutional Federal Republic is a type of democracy. Similarly, a Corgi is a type of dog. Saying "we don't live in a democracy" is as logical as saying "a Corgi isn't a dog"

Bruce: I was listening to your show this morning and agree that giving 16 year-old's the right to vote is not the way to increase civic participation! But...RANKED-CHOICE VOTING is!
Please look into it and let us know your opinion. Thx!

I 100% like the idea of paring down the Bureaucratic State. That isn't what Project 2025 proposes though. Project 2025 wants to fire everyone, THEN REPLACE them with Trump loyalists only. Scary!

38.6.1 Church Handbook stated abortion exceptions: if pregnancy resulted from forcible rape or incest, if physician determines the life/health of the mother is in jeopardy, if determined that fetus has defects & won't survive beyond birth.

I agree with every word written in this article. Nevertheless, it does not say that "life begins at conception", The Church has no official position on the moment that human life begins:

Abortion is not D's "cornerstone issue" Kamala's policies will PREVENT abortions...her policy proposals will allow families $$$ needed to have a child in the first place. Sadly, many people abort due to financial instability.
