Nice! Masking is def an option, but can tend to look a bit weird when static (see my mockup) I think a a faded fill level might be the way to go for the icon :)

So Apple updated the battery icon in beta 2. It's nice to have the visual display of battery level back! Legibility does suffer a bit compared to the original iOS 16 icon – perhaps adding outlines to the digits could help maintain legibility?

Lol, flawed analogy. Athlete’s are usually high agency and will have no cap on their earnings. More work means more money, more success. For this person more work means they don’t get fired.
We do celebrate hard workers when they’re free and high agency: Entrepreneurs.

I agree that the change is confusing since it inverses the existing behavior. However this confusion should be relatively short lived. I think it’s worth pointing out this new design also brings Twitter in line with other social networks where following is the primary action.

+1. At Daniel Wellington we do influencer marketing which means we have to handle thousands of invoices from influencers we work with. Being able to pay automatically and directly to their accounts would be a huuuuuge timesaver. (Listed as ”coming soon” on your website, right? :)

The coolest part is how they use it in store! I asked it they had any T-shirts in size L left. The Uniqlo guy whipped out his handheld scanner, waved it around the shelf of 50+ shirts that I had been rummaging through and in one second he went “we do!” and pulled the last one out

I played around with this concept 5 years ago. Mind you it was for Dribbble which explains the gratuitous animations. The idea is to simplify text selection by enlarging font size and increasing spacing in the selection area. Refinement needed but I like the basic idea. Thoughts?

Allt som inte är Wallet är lite skräp. BankID känns generellt lite halvtaffligt byggt. Med Freja eID får jag till exempel notiser när något ska verifieras och man kan skanna QR koder via inbyggda kamera-appen, BankID klarar inte något av det, ganska taskig UX överlag :/
