This is just more of the same liberation hermeneutic we’ve come to expect from urban black churches, whose existence, by the way, since being politically hijacked in the 1960s by MLK, Jr., has been primarily to serve as social justice auxiliaries of the Democrat Party. This “pastor” is openly calling for violence under the flawed juxtaposition of government overreach. It is a predictable tactic among Democrats: threaten black people with the loss of their government entitlement or assistance in hopes they will rise up and respond violently. But what’s even more problematic, in my opinion, than what is being said, is the affirmative reaction of his congregation to what is being said.

Look at each and every one of them. We won’t rest until every last hostage is home.
