Nowhere in the Ahtisaari Plan or the mentioned law is there something related to closure of bridges between two municipalities. This is a very misleading and inaccurate claim.
The Ibar Bridge does not divide nor will reunite Mitrovica. The division of Mitrovica into two municipalities was done in 2011 as a part of Ahtisaari decentralisation process and made legal through adoption the Law on Administrative Municipal Boundaries.
