My dad passed at 3:50 this morning. He was on hospice and at a LTC facility. Dx with RSV 2 weeks ago and just steadily declined. It was expected but still doesn’t seem real. My mom is shook 😩

I don't have student loans because I made payments, got scholarships and grants and made it work, so I wouldn't have that debt. I've heard horror stories about loan debt. I'm not mad at the people that are getting help! Good for them!

My Grandma is 98 and relies on her SS, Medicare/Medicaid to get by. My parents are also reliant on SS and Medicare for their chronic medical problems. I have paid into these programs since I was 15!
