For some large breed dogs, vets recommend waiting until they’re older because an early spay/neuter can cause developmental problems that will cause issues later on. However I’ve only experienced this with pure bred dogs so….

this is one of the most important former fosters I have. her name is Slippers. her foster name was bootstrap. I thought she was a boy. she should have died but she refused to and so I spent 48 hours syringing sugar water and food to her and sleeping 20 minutes at a time.
