If you ever get a chance, talk to an early engineer at blizzard who worked on world of warcraft. They essentially perfected gamification, onboarding, habit building, and then of course a complex game engineering.

It basically says "it depends" or "both are important".
For example, ask it "Do engineers prefer dark theme or light theme more"?
