Starting chemo Wednesday for 3 months and then a scan to see if it is working.
Can only see what happens at that point. It is not curable but they are trying to shrink it or keep it at bay. I know how fortunate I am to have the people I have around me. Thank you sincerely. ❤

So, had the dreaded call last week. Cancer has returned in pancreas and secondary in the liver. Due to start chemo next Wednesday but cancelled after being pinged to self isolate. Then you hear the utter crap from this govt about pilot shemes. I can take tests every day no prob.

Small victory today. Scan shows tumour has reduced so chemo doing the job. Chemo restarting Dec 1st but can't complain. Just wanted to let everyone know and thanks for your support. A good day today. 👍Ant. ❤

My daughter's friend aged 23 died overnight from Covid 19. The 5th friend the family have lost since Christmas with the oldest being 58. It is all exaggerated mind!!

Had call from Velindre today. So pleasantly surprised that my MRI scan was clear!! Continuing with the 3 monthly check ups as usual but today is a very good day. Can I just say quick thank you to everyone on here for support over past few weeks. So appreciated. X

6 months Chemotherapy finished today. Just tablets for a few days now. Been a trifle difficult at times!! But I love all you people who got me through with my fantastic family. Scan end of Feb now but so far so good.

On this chemo for 21 months and been really lucky on the whole in terms of side effects. But every now and then a week comes along and you are floored for a few days. Last week one of those. Feel better and realise even more now how lucky I am on the whole. ❤️ and thanks all.

Had results of operation today. Some of what was removed was cancer unfortunately. 3 of the 22 lymph nodes removed had malignant cells so as a belt and braces job I am going to be going for chemo over next 6 months. Can't thank people enough for the good wishes. Means so much.

One year ago today Pancreatic tumour and spleen removed in Morriston Hosp. Amazing people who do an amazing job. Plenty of chemo later and things look pretty good today. I know how lucky I have been up to now. Thank you everyone. ❤️👍NHS🌈

Just got back from Velindre. Very happy with scan and Velindre have no concerns. Back in 3 months. Can't complain. 👍

Latest 3 month scan at Velindre Cancer Centre..... All stable, no progression of Cancer. See you in 3 months and carry on with Chemo. Can't ask for much more. Positive vibes to anyone else going through similar.🙏👍

Thanks to all asking. Recent scan is stable, no worse no better but Velindre happy. Tumour marker down to near normal level also really good. Having 3 months more chemo starting Wed but then hopefully break in the summer. All pretty good generally. ❤👍

A time to remember people not quite as lucky as myself. 3 Years almost since first scan showed something I didnt want to see. There is a life beyond diagnosis.....honest!
