Chief Justice R M M Zondo will hang up his robes this month, marking the end of a judicial career that has spanned twenty-seven and a half years. Tonight, the Chief Justice will be honoured with a farewell dinner in Johannesburg.

Chief Justice R M M Zondo led the Judiciary procession into the Cape Town City Hall where President M C Ramaphosa will deliver the State of the Nation Address.
The Judiciary, represented by Chief Justice R M M Zondo and the Heads of Superior Courts, joined proceedings as President M C Ramaphosa delivered the Opening of Parliament Address at the Cape Town City Hall.
Members of the legal profession have gathered in the Pretoria High Court to commemorate 100 years of women in law. In attendance is Ms Desiree Finca who is the first black woman to be enrolled as an attorney in 1967.
