@FredRankin8 @hedge_97funds @NoHelmetsReq This is true. But look at what Suaali will get to do over the 4 week international window. 4 matches at massive nation stadiums not suburban grounds around Sydney. I love NRL and it’s the best pro league but international RU far bigger

@NoHelmetsReq So chippy. But now he gets to do this on a global stage. 4 games in 4 weeks with over 50k in attendance— in 4 different countries. Something he didn’t get to do “Every week”

@TAFKAB2 @MrHallPrimaryEG @AmericasOval @T2Rugby I love both and have a joint RU/RL club one of the only ones in UK. Agree RU vastly improved since professionalism and in last 5 years but unfortunately less people Are watching

@WorcsFaithful @T2Rugby But the TV deal for NRL bigger than Prem and URC combined by miles not even close. NRL not contracting likely to be a 2nd team in NZ and in PNG. Pathway from pacific islands also increasing. The two codes can and should merge. Love to see Junior Nsemba play in a RU World Cup

@MrHallPrimaryEG @TAFKAB2 @AmericasOval @T2Rugby The scrum is getting better in RU and RL is poorer for not having competitive scrums. There can be boredom too in the RL: 4 one out passes followed by a kick can get tiresome too (admittedly less in NRL). RU rules getting v close to RL now

@Stephen95H Existing system crazy tho. Farmers on their 90s owning farms which should have long since been passed to their children in order to “die with their boots on”.

@rbrharrison Existing rules are crazy tho. Leads to farmers holding land into their 80s with sons in their 60s owning nothing because it’s tax efficient to die with your boots on.

@KirstieMAllsopp Except the current system encourages farmers to die with their boots on. 85 year olds still owning and having to run farms to save the tax. It was a broken system

@Samfr But it also makes a fair point….. spend £5 million on the canoeing team but reduce funding which provides grass roots access to funding seems perverse (the numbers made up btw)

@Considered_ @davidflatman It’s politics for sure but it’s also democracy. It was in their manifesto. They won. They get to implement it. You get to moan about it.

@TadhgHickey Deeply weird point. What are those watching enjoying it meant to do with this info I wonder? 🧐
