In Chicago they removed all the basketball hoops from every court in the city at the start of the pandemic. Tennis nets were not taken down. Golf greens were not dug up. Baseball and soccer fields were not fenced.
Even as restrictions loosen the hoops have not been reinstalled.

I grew up as an orphan, in part because of sexual violence against my mother. Before the orphanage we stayed in a women and children shelter.
