Belle hereโs my thoughts on this hi jacked postโฆ the hospital does the paperwork for the birth certificate so itโs ignorant to believe that they arenโt getting one. The SS card gets mailed to them shortly after baby is born and you are being taken for a ride

And certainly there should be tasks that need to be completed by the parents. They just make it so you can complete it before you leave the hospital and I know with mine I wanted to put their names on everything. Not leave them as unnamed.
