The only time I let people get more for less from me is because in that moment, I allow it to happen and I take full ownership over my choice- but before the session ends I let them know that it was just for that one time and that going forward it costs “x” amount. A big cornerstone of this job is looking out for ourselves first and then extending graces at will when we’re moved to do so but not letting people use down and out circumstances to leech from us perpetually
