Saw this sketch by
@FonsMans
that looked tasty so obviously had to build this lil pad to smack some quick beats in the browser.
A tailwind and framer motion production.
Sound on 🔉
the underlay concept from
@JordanAmblin
was pretty neat so thought i'd build it for the web to add some layers to content for things like searching for keywords in the content.
folders everywhere.
playing around with adding some folders on screen and moving them around / sorting using tailwind and framer motion (mostly for the folder transitions).
Played around with the app library interaction so much that I built a lil version of it on the web + some drag handles for some extra. All app icons home grown too.
Annotations to save for later (kinda like
@Medium
)
- Numbered annotations mapped out in order next to document
- Highlighted text on content
- Button to "Add Annotation"
- Collision protection between two annotations in the same elements
- Snap to words so you don't annotate
Still reeling over the past few days at
@framerloupe
!
What a great effort put in by the
@framer
team.
The sheer amount of talent in the space was astonishing and humbling, while also being incredible to see how kind everyone in the community is.
Little live photo box emulation using the
@tailwindcss
and
@framer
motion combo.
Drag, click or keyboard control for navigating left, right and hit space to play video.
Framer Web is here. It’s free, collaborative, no-code prototyping. Work fast with premade components and interactions from the Insert Menu. Visually perfect Magic Motion animations. Share links, thread feedback, and hand off animations. Get it for free —

I believe Edward said’s work touches upon this phenomenon quite well. Even though, I had my gripes seeing this clearly when I was younger. This is an extremely common thread between colonized nations, which today may not even be allowed recognition of what their past was.

This is a great way to think about design honestly
i dig the
@arcinternet
's max link summary feature so built a quick component and hooked it up with openai's gpt-4 for fun. it's pretty rough and isn't as performant (no embeddings...straight api prompting hah) but i just had to unwrap it. $3 well spent 😅

ASCII art archives are fun too + if you find really great ones you can even set them into your dotfiles and have a tiny moment of joy every time you run them -
