a lot of TCG players would’ve immensely benefitted from playing sports growing up because it teaches you how to deal with failure and make adjustments. mental toughness is an underrated skill that is not talked about enough.

the pokemon tcg competitive scene doesnt need villains, it needs more of this. this is such a cute wholesome interaction and people should be silly on stream more often!.
After watching my stream game, I think this clip is my favorite thing of this weekend. It’s great thing to play the game you love. It’s a beautiful thing to play it with the people you love. And that’s what makes @playpokemon truly special :)

@piperlepine sorry he wanted unfair stamp, saw it was on the top of the deck, “shuffled”, and it ended up as the 2nd card on top of the deck. it’s pretty clear it was stacked, the odds that a “sufficiently randomized” shuffle occurred and 1 card moving 1 space is so incredibly low.

I'm running a special Pokéween tournament at @gamersguildaz on October 31st at 7PM. No Rule Box Pokémon Allowed (No Pokémon V, VMAX, VSTAR, ex, or Radiant). These are deck archetypes I thought up of but there's sooo many more, I can't wait to see what people come up with!

stepped up and became a professor at my LGS when our existing TO left. Performed better at premier events (T4 3 cups, T8 2 cups, Top512 at Sac) than last season while playing less locals. Made closer connections with AZ locals that has made playing so much more enjoyable.
since 2024 is nearly over, what was everyone’s proudest achievement/moment playing ptcg this year?. this was my first full year playing, my proudest moments are topping four cups, including getting 2nd at a top cut comics cup in chicago 🥹.

played in 6 cups, 9 challenges, & 1 regional .goal was just to play & have fun, first time ever playing a TCG. Cups: 1st & 4th.Challenges: 2nd.Regional: 1236/2073. 94 points. Became a judge and trying to become a TO to keep my fav store alive. Also made a bunch of friends!.
