So yesterday I had a guy called for a judge -and I am not exaggerating- about 15 times across two games. At first I thought maybe he was new (though he had a very blinged deck) or nervous, but I think it turned into rule sharking and at one point I was quite upset by it.

I got my first ever Day 2 at Birmingham Regionals with Terapagos Dusknoir! 🤩🤩. I went 6-2-0 in Day 1, but then relaxed too much and went 0-3-1 in Day 2 😂 I got to play against Miloslav Posledni, Clement Courbois and Fabian Pujol! Loads of my friends did amazing. 😁

While we are all arguing about which card game is best. I played MTG growing up with my brothers. When I got to uni I went to MTG club once. Everyone there was really elitist and rude to me, made me feel like an idiot and unwelcome. It put me off card games for like a decade.

Shout out to my opponent yesterday whose first action was "Great Ball. ? I didn't think this was in my deck?!" and then called the judge on themselves. Unfortunate to have a decklist error, but a very honest thing to do :-) Was a really nice guy too!.

Just finished my first ever EUIC!. I ended up losing my win and in. But I got to a win and in and that's proper hype!. 5-3-1 is a def a record I'm proud of. AND I didn't tilt!. Dodged Snorlax all day. until the last round 😵😭😂

I've only done two large Pokémon tournaments, but at both of them I was sat next to someone who was really pushing hard for their clearly good faith opponent who made a totally harmless mistake to get a game loss or something. Pretty cringe.

5th today at a League Cup 😁. Raichu V and Luxray V underperformed but I think it was the silly matchups (below). Mew and Iron Hand Sex did very good!. I think this list is pretty good!

Unfortunately really disappointed for my first ever regional result. I probably just set my expectations too high, but I did so bad. I felt like I worked so hard for it and failed to even hit my minimum bar. Crushed my confidence quite a lot tbqh.

One of the most frustrating things about PTCGL is that it actually feels like it's in a worse state now than when I first downloaded it like 2 years ago. There's no sense of progress, it just feels like every few weeks they rotate the bugs out for new ones.

As a relative noob I personally think Tier 0 formats are less fun. This is probably the least fun format since I started playing tbh!.
