My Dad is doing really well. He gets to go home on Monday. I’ve never heard of anybody getting out of hospice alive. I’m so glad he gets to go home for a while anyway.
I got a nail in my tire yesterday and couldn’t get the damn tire off to save my life. I brought it in to get it fixed and felt less of a man with all the burly guys at the tire shop. Oh well, I edited my smb.conf file today, and non of them probably can do that.

I hear you. I have ex-girlfriend from high school that’s a grandmother. Between that and Nirvana being played on the classic rock station, I must be older than I feel.
I’ve been looking at places I want to see the Broncos play this year. Dallas was an option. It would be a cool stadium to see, but I no longer want to spend money in that state.

I’m thankful I’m still working. I have an essential job at a water plant. We are down to minimal staff, so I feel pretty safe. The city sure doesn’t want us getting sick.
I’m cleaning up my RSS feeds for the first time in at least a decade. Sad to see a lot of bloggers that I use to read fell off the face of the internet.

That’s so awesome. We had to put our dog down earlier this month too. I ordered a painting of her from an amazing artist on Etsy. Now when I’m missing my best friend, I just talk to the painting. It’s strangely comforting.
I’ve lost all my grandparents and both my parents and strangely losing my dog has been the hardest.
With my parents when I got back home things were relatively normal.
Nothing is normal here without my Kingslie.
When I was in college I worked as a cook in a restaurant. I was mopping the lobby as were were getting ready to close and in walks

. She was just a teenager back then. I then had to cook for her and wash her dishes. She had a mushroom and onion steak.
I got my

t-shirt along with a nice note from Kailynn today. I love supporting great music and it's even better when they are great people. I'm still kicking myself for not saying hi to Kailynn when I saw her at my last MCS show in Minneapolis.
So sad to hear about Adam Schlesinger. I’ve loved Fountains of Wayne since their amazing debut album. So many good songs. “Stacy’s Mom” is probably one of their worsts.

The best my start word has ever been. I had a chance to get it in two, instead it took me six and I almost broke my current streak of 20.
@tonythaxton
Thanks Tony. All this is so crazy. It’s already a different world than it was a month ago when we saw you break in The Fillmore in Minneapolis.

My local Planned Parenthood has been getting a little bit from all my Amazon purchases for years. It’s so easy, everybody should be doing it.
@gizellie
Yeah, we were totally planning on traveling to STL or CHI to see them, but then COVID. I got third row seats in front of the stage. It should be fun.
We had a total of 6 people here for Thanksgiving. All of us have had COVID in the past three months, so I think we were safe. I gotta be honest though, turkey kind of sucks. I think there is a reason why we only eat it once a year.

Antonia reminds me so much of my wife, the only problem was that we were married in July not June. It was pretty cool to hear it was July in the demo.
