Got the dreaded brown DWP envelope the other day. Picked it up stomach churning, heart thumping. Hands shaking so I could hardly open it. Almost fainting I read that it was just informing me of adjustment to benefit from April. Two hours to stop shaking. Reality for millions.🌹

@DailyMirror There are very few public toilets and they're closed anyway. Restaurants or cafes are closed so no access to their toilets either. What was this man - or anyone in his position - to do? It looks as though the place he chose is pretty secluded. Who'd report this during a pandemic?

@iainoverton A traumatised man died of hypothermia in the grounds of a church? Next to a shelter he'd approached for help? Jesus wept. What is the matter with people? This has left me very sad but also furious. This should not happen in a country that considers itself to be civilised.

@paulrtrotman Nothing to do with you, or anyone else, if nurses want to dance during their break. At no time did they refuse to see patients. They worked hard, long hours so why shouldn't they get full pay? What a nasty mindset you have.

@CallBuyerCletus @MartinSLewis Universal suffrage means everyone can vote. What about people with medical conditions who can't work? Taking away anyone's voting rights is a slippery slope and should be vigorously opposed.
