He sounds stupid because he’s not using the term correctly, but there are multiple Indigenous tribes who are Muslim (Moro) in the Philippines, and you hear Arabic terms everywhere daily. There are also Filipino Muslims with tattoos.

I’m Muslim and I’ve lived in the Philippines for the last two months studying Indigenous history and culture. I also hang out at the tattoo shops here in Davao. I literally know Muslim Filipinos with tattoos. I didn’t say they were all Indigenous tattoos, but there’s overlap.
