England has complicated racial elements we didn’t have.
The VRU were one factor, not the sole reason Glasgow became less violent.
We couldn’t go anywhere without being stopped and searched for knives where I grew up. There’s also been a cultural change and gentrification.
Let's talk about knife crime in England and totally ignore what Glasgow achieved, despite global recognition.
Why?
