so I’ve been watching a lot of weight loss youtubers these days and have been gathering a lot of realistic/mental advice which is different from “just starve”… would anyone be interested in a thread?
"cheat" days are a fucking scam. they're not satisfying or fulfilling, just an illusion that triggers binges and fosters unhealthy eating habits... just have that cookie if you're craving it and call it a day, instead of gorging on a whole pack and crying about it

- beans, lentils & pulses are your best friend.
- coffee every morning
- alternate b/w omad and intermittent
- a good day is < 1000, a bad day is > 1300, anything in-between you can make up for it.
- fruits over candy, make it a habit.
if i want to be skinny, i have to think skinny for the rest of my life. theres no point in keeping up the charade for two months, only to gain it all back again… but don’t worry, slow and steady always wins the race

- cookies taste stale, pizzas like cheesy oils. bread has maggots, chicken has steroids, cereal is literally just cardboard.
- chug water. it’s good for clear skin & to filter your body
- each time you think of candy remember how your belly flops, rolls, & your cheeks bloat.
- don’t look at the food, if it is tempting, leave and breathe for 30 secs
- electrolytes are important for brain functioning. coconut water, banana, yogurt, watermelon, lemon juice, citrus fruits, fruit juices will always help.
- skinny and smart is always in fashion.
- be effortlessly beautiful, instead of buying so many products and using so much makeup let your beauty reflect from your shape.
- being skinny makes you look gentle, sweet and caring. f4tty makes u look greedy, and monstrous.
- intuitive eating is shit. don’t you dare fall into that trap again.
- “one more bite” “one more snack” “this portion won’t hurt” WRONG. this is what’s keeping you from losing weight.
- move around constantly. dont sit just be busy, always walk and keep your body moving.
- be afraid of all foods, except veggies, fruits, boiled eggs, low-cal dairy and pulses.
- always exaggerate your calorie counts. and never stop counting. you’ll slip and fall easily.
- a cheat day of 1500 is okay on some occasions. but exercise, exercise, exercise.
- at the end of the day, it’s just food. a few seconds of lingering taste. have an egg or vegetable instead of the processed shit you’re always craving. at least it’ll do you some good.
- deep cheekbones, jawlines, collarbones. need i say more?
- wear whatever you want.

- remember that heavy, sickly feeling of fullness? avoid it by keeping ur mouth shut
- remember how you looked at your lw. the compliments and the lightness, how clothes hung from your waist and your hip bones protruding
- have self-respect. don’t you love yourself? be kind to your body and keep it safe from shitty food.
- be the skinniest in dance class.
- exercise 5-6/ week, and soon you’ll be hearing the difference.
- do this for yourself & nobody else. it’s what we’ve always wanted and we’re the only person who can help us reach that goal.
- everything is possible if we put our mind to it. it’s all about our willpower<3
- don’t throw everything you’ve worked so hard for a taste you’ll forget. instead, work for a body that nobody will ever forget.
- imagine how light you’ll be when he picks you up in the summers.

but it also saddens me when the realisation sinks in…
today i made a chocolate pudding trifle with a base of chocolate-centred cupcakes, and layers of salted caramel, whipped cream, bananas, strawberries, garnished with blueberries on top<3
YALLLL i went to Italy for a solo trip & i had the best fucking food of my life. my bf and parents rlly encouraged me to eat and enjoy different foods while i was there & it was the best experience of my entire life<3 im genuinely sooo grateful :)
having said that…
idk y but recently eating junk food makes me feel so disgusting and fat. ik eating a 200 cal chocolate bar or a 200 cal fruit salad is the same thing but it just feels wrong…?
