'The Forgotten Irish' - they rebuilt post war Britain, and in their resting hours, laid the foundation for British pop

7 years ago, we unveiled a special plaque to commemorate “The Forgotten Irish.”
The plaque honours the contribution of Irish immigrants who helped rebuild post-war Britain. It was for this generation that the LIC was first opened.
There is a sister plaque in Dún Laoghaire. ☘
