The beginnings of a soap batch. All my butters n oils will happily melt together then u add the lye water put in ur colors n scents n then the magical chemistry of Saponification begins 💕 u lovingly pour ur soap batter into a mould n a soap bar is born.

Daddy’s r our hero’s! I had an injured goat on the lower field this morn. Daddy had to come home to help. He calmed Oliver down got him up to our farm hospital we cleaned him up n I am so greateful I think Oli is going to make it. 💜

So for something to follow on line it looks like they use Amaretto. So u can look that up just in case.
Find a pear jam recipe u like make sure it has things like cinnamon clove u know autumn spices n u add about 2 ounces of the liqueur as ur cooking the pears down

Yum breakfast frittatas with bacon hash browns bell peppers onions eggs n cheese we have some early morning start times in the next few weeks w shows n all. Made a couple of dozen of them to freeze n use as needed. Oh the hubby will b happy when he sees these!
