It has been wonderful to hear from so many trans inclusive lesbians. But according to their replies, the TERFs do not believe that cis lesbians would ever stand up for trans people - so solidarity between our communities is more important than ever.

As a lesbian (the old fashioned, same sex attracted, female type) I find myself supremely indifferent to the opinions of men on this topic. Why is it SO hard for you to let us have some space, words & agency for ourselves? Is there NOTHING men won’t try to appropriate &colonise?

Been thinking we need to set up a campaign group of cisgender women who support trans rights. Just saw another ludicrous example of a man lecturing a cis woman about women's rights because she said something supportive of trans people. These people cannot keep speaking for us.

Lots of cis men responding to this snidely to help "define" what a lesbian is allowed to be, if there was any doubt in people's minds about who actually wants to control and restrict how women experience our attraction to other women.
