Think it’s distasteful of you to say this is “sad”. It’s likely he moves mass bricks, often below $80-90 a pair cost, before 10-20% discounts and 10-15% cashback. Profit is most likely $30-50+ per pair, no small amount, and definitely huge when moving thousands, proud of him!

Many tech recruiters are averaging a 5% or below qualified and eligible rate from LinkedIn applications. Meaning the actual candidate pool would be below 90. It’s good people keep this in mind so they aren’t discouraged when seeing application numbers.
