What makes this case particularly frustrating from a legal standpoint is that the merits of the case never reached the Supreme Court because of procedural issues.
My thoughts on Dr. Iggy’s case:
Medicine is not an exact science. The human body is such an intricate creation of God that even after many millenia, we are still unable to solve many of its mysteries. There are so many things beyond the control and understanding of doctors.

I was ostracized in school for knowing only English. It wasn't until I learned how to curse in the local dialect that my peers started respecting me.
