Briefly back on twitter to put the word out that Rojava is currently under the most intense aerial bombardment we’ve witnessed in years. Turkey are openly destroying vital civilian infrastructure. In the last 24 hours they’ve hit half a dozen sites and killed at least 8 workers.

Looking likely that 30+ Turkish army personnel were killed across 3 attacks over the last 36 hours. To put it in perspective: on the British Army’s worst day in NI they lost 18 soldiers. Turkey needs a Good Friday-style agreement or the cycle of violence will never be broken.
