Declaring the area as Bangla Bhai’s base, they unleashed chaos in a display of their extremist ideology. Who was Bangla Bhai? Siddique ul-Islam, infamously known as Bangla Bhai, was the military commander of the #AlQaeda-affiliated JMB. His reign of terror included the August 2005 nationwide bombings, which shook Bangladesh.
