So worked today.2 hours at Vic for a Harley st.Picked up soon after for Carnaby. Drove around for a bit. Padds,Euston and CharX were full but not loads overanking. 2 more street hails,last finishing in Fenchurch St.Just hit £50.Think that was lucky for first day back.5 hours out.

Driving in inner circle, for a moment I wondered if I should just continue to drive around and around it for bit. Felt so calm and comforting with nobody else around, lovely smooth roads and street lamps giving the road a little bit of light.Then thought sod that, stupid idea ☺️

Think I’ve had him in the cab too,wasn’t as screamy but was challenging.We don’t just take people from A-B we take many different people some with difficulties.Our job is SO MUCH MORE than a driver.Can be quite daunting at times but always try to be as helpful to them as possible

Don’t think the knowledge needs reform. The knowledge is what it is and produces the best drivers. Take that away and that erodes our standard.
Obviously numbers dropped a lot over the pandemic, not because of poor uptake in the knowledge. But do think K needs better promotion.
