Thank you @MyJSCAI for publishing our work on #TAVR for treatment of de novo AR in #LVAD patients. TAVR in LVAD patients is technically feasible and produces durable improvement in AR severity, functional status, and QOL @MartyTamMD @d_sukul

Importantly, this association was independent of diabetic status. We hypothesize that acute hyperglycemia may be a surrogate marker for ongoing physiologic stress in HF patients, as shown previously in general ICU patients. Thank you @SHummelMD for mentorship on this work!

@JeremySussman @Jwaitz @hswapnil @ChristosArgyrop @PalNeph_NM @NephroPeeps I’ve had success thus far starting sglt2 for ckd prior to discharge, with good $ coverage. I wonder if automation may have a role in tagging patients during hospitalization that meet sglt2 criteria, given the good safety profile and large # patients that meet an sglt2 indication.

@DrEricStrong Can’t thank you enough for these videos. The EKG videos were unbelievably helpful during an EP elective. Really looking forward to watching the rest of the videos on the channel before intern year.
