Every Californian politician: I will personally lead January 6 part 2 at the CA State Capitol if a single additional house is built in this state.
Deeply saddened by the CA Supreme Court’s ruling in favor of construction on People’s Park. While affordable housing is a pressing need, this project will not create it. We cannot stand by as the UC, the biggest landlord in the state, destroys a historic and cultural landmark.

Seen a few variations of this take and I completely disagree. There was an air of smugness surrounding liberals during the Clinton campaign, a belief that we could not lose. Also, anyone that was not a dedicated Dem could not stop talking about how much they hated HRC.
2. *At the time* Clinton was the candidate of the Fight Song celebrities and Kaine was America's cool, stepdad on the latest night comedy shows.
But then they lost. Clinton became about Pokémon go to the polls and Kaine became "boring" (as if that's bad in a VP.)
