This is very unscientific, because you are assuming that everybody that voted for Npp and NDC in 2016 hold constant .It is also very wrong because it might be that Npp lost old voters and it was rather the new voters who voted for them. This your analysis is statistically wrong.
Only one equation the ruling NPP party in Ghana need to pay attention to when evaluating their recent performance: Percentage of New Votes Obtained in 2020.
2.5 million more valid presidential votes were cast in 2020 vs 2016.
1 million went to NPP. 1.5m to NDC.

The economy totally sank in the COVID period so rising up is a only expected because of the easing up on restrictions. Where as with Trump, the economy was relatively working well before Trump took over hence his rise was significant. Because it was seen as a vote of confidence.

After deceleration if result there is no law in Ghana that says that the aggrieved party petitions the EC for result to be changed. It is only the court that can overturn a result. I don’t know why people who are very literate support such moves??
