The replies on this are so unhinged. No wonder the industry is fucked when there’s this many people around not having any respect for personal boundaries. I would NEVER text someone’s personal number about a PR client unless it’s a friendly journalist and even then email is best.
I've just had a band text my private phone asking me to play their music and i'd like to remind anyone in the situation of trying to get their music out there that there are boundaries.
I understand you want your moment, but texting my private phone number is a step too far.
