Man, I am so glad I graduated 6 years ago. I can't imagine being a student now and getting frequently confused by various influencers and their ideology. Worst, what if I had become an 'andh bhakt' of an influencer and spread his/her propaganda without using my own brain.

Not sure if you consider Walmart as FAANG type but I had interviewed for Senior Frontend Developer recently, first round was based on DS and Algo. They asked alot of problems on array, and some with other DS. Btw I have 4+ years of experience.

Going through EpicReactDev advanced hooks useReducer section. My mind has stopped working. I have been using useReducer like Redux, so each extra credit in this section is making me go crazy. I need to unlearn useReducer inorder to learn it properly again.

Vite + React over NextJS any day
I left Next.js for Vite + React
Yes, after being annoyed with Next for a while I finally pulled the plug and started my new project in Vite.
Right off the bat developing is much faster.
SPAs are not that bad after all.
So far no issues, just had to get used to using

As a software engineer I fail to understand how this is even possible. Git, DB, VMs, compute engines sab uda diya kya ?
I accidentally deleted the whole GrowthSchool website at 2am 🫣😖
After 18hrs of insane job by the team, we recovered 97% of the website from old backups and Google sheets 😅

Good initiative. I'd like to share that based on my experience of interviewing at 25+ companies in last 2 months, I observed that 90% asked LLD type system designs where implementation was also needed in plain JS. And barely anyone asked HLD. Btw I have 6 years of experience.

Tech Interviews need to be standardized, at least to some extent. Some focus mostly only DSA, some focus on machine coding, low level/OO design, some focus on high level/system design, some want in-depth PhD level knowledge of a particular language,etc,etc
