Kent Police Detective and King County Sheriff's Deputy jump into frigid waters of Wenatchee River to save a child. Both officers were off-duty; they selflessly and without hesitated jumped in to save child.

Another win for the good guys! This gentleman was carjacked today at knifepoint. Officers found the car, arrested the suspect, and even helped change the newly flattened tire so the victim could drive home!

We are heartbroken to report that K9 Ronja was killed in the line of duty early today. K9 Ronja sacrificed herself to save the life of her partner and her fellow officers. Her name means “bringing victory”. To us Ronja will forever mean bringing valor.

Tonight a stolen car tried to flee from officers at an apt complex on the west hill. But our better training and driving skills meant we won the day! The driver thought he could run across this field, but K9 Krieger thought otherwise.

This past weekend we said forever goodbye to K911 Bruiser who served with his human handler Det. Lorette from 4/2006-7/2010. A beautiful yellow lab, Bruiser served Kent PD and our community as a narcotics detection dog. Thank you for your service K911.

Sorry for the picture quality...our uniforms and cameras were covered in rain and mud after tracking this suspect all over a neighborhood in the east hill. We went through blackberries and jumped over many fences, but thanks to K9 Krieger, we won at Hide & Seek yet again!

Caught a bank robber today, NBD. Suspect robbed the Bank of America at 102 Ave/SE 240 St, and we found his car down in the valley. He tried to flee but with the help of trusty K9 Krieger, he was safety taken into custody.

A hard lesson learned. A sergeant went to pull over this car and the driver decided to make things much worse. After a pursuit, the suspect lost control and flipped the car off Kent Kangley Rd. The suspect was unhurt and will spend a nice long weekend in jail.
