My second cousin was murdered by a bomb / missile attack in Gaza
The description of what happened to this baby’s body is so disturbing I can’t even share it on here
Yet you have Zionists dare lecture us about morality
I know it’s obvious but I want to reiterate that 90% of people who talk about Theology on here are unqualified
No BA, no MA, no PhD, no traditional qualifications from Muslim scholars
Just Shamela and PDF merchants, no actual rigorous scholarship.
Imam al-Nawawi writes:
If he was to glance at her and she is unattractive to him then he should be quiet and not say: “I do not want her” because that is hurtful.
Rawdatu Talibin 4/662
listening to the qur’an as a disgraced rebel in it’s original language is an unmatched feeling of healing and awe
the way each verse, word and letter are just perfectly put in it’s place which then gives you such a eloquent flow of meaning and language will change you
The people who are more disgusting than the open non-Muslim Zionists are the hypocrite ‘Muslims’ who want to advance the political interests of certain Muslim states even at the cost of blood. What’s even more diabolical is how they gaslight others into believing this is Islam.
As families of victims and the general body of the Muslims, we will never forget your actions.
This extends to whoever may play this card of gaslighting, regardless of your sect.
My great Uncle, Lieutenant and chief Saad el-Shazly would be celebrating if he was alive seeing the evil occupying Zionist state being rained down with ballistic and hypersonic missiles
He was a real mujahid whose story against the Zionist entity I will tell in the near future
@freemonotheist
Even if we were to grant that the Qur’an contains more violent passages than the Old Testament then this does not really prove any point.
The central point which a lot of non-Muslims seem to miss is focusing on the Qur’anic jus ad bellum which was adopted by classical jurists.
@ToSalaf
In fact, the Hanafi’s do not claim that their school is 100% correct. They say that there is a possibility it is wrong (حصكفي)
So to claim that Christ ﷺ would stick to the Hanafi school even when there is a possibility it is wrong on some rulings then this is indeed ludicrous
off topic from the topic of Fibonacci, but the Islamic inheritance system seeks to strive based off equity and not absolute equality.
i’ve been meaning to share what a particular scholar said about this for a while, so since this is a post about inheritance i think why not:
@DrShoaibAM
Salam Alaykum
I’m a young student who is just finishing the equivalent of 3 A level’s and I am going to apply for top Universities to study Religious studies - Theology
I was wondering whether I could send you my personal statement if you could so kindly review it
When I came back from holiday, I didn’t realise this had happened at all until it came to giving proof to University of my grades.. then I had realised I don’t have enough UCAS points to do anything!!
Everyone my age should be graduating at 21, but I’ll be graduating at 23.. to become a CA as a graduate you need to do three years worth of paid studying and training
So at the age of 26 then I’ll be fully qualified😬
@oxyoxyoxy_
@LeayAlKufi
Although I think it’s difficult to verify whether he is a mujtahid mutlaq, what i find disappointing is the amount of *modern* Ash’aris who disparage someone who is truly عظيم like Ibn Taymiyyah
It’s not from the mannerisms of a seeker of knowledge to do such a thing
“And whose promise is truer than Allah’s? So REJOICE in the exchange you have made with Him. That is ˹truly˺ the ultimate triumph.”
Congratulations to my Palestinian nation and the Muslim community on paradise receiving a special man. The crown of dignity has been given.
I want to do a Masters in something to do with Religious Studies, Theology or Philosophy. I could either do it part-time whilst training to be a CE or I can do it straight after my degree and then when I finish I begin training for CA.
I don’t know but it’s really depressing to know that two years just went down the drain.
Ofc alhamdullilah for everything right but it just annoys me that two years of my youth went to waste.
I’m gonna go for Cambridge
Cambridge have more of a higher acceptance rate
Inshallah I can quote tweet this in a few months’ time with some good news.. if not then khayr
ومن يتق الله يجعل له مخرجا ويرزقه من حيث لا يحتسب
This stressed me out badly, I had to enrol onto a HE Access course (which is going really well up to now) at a different College so I can get enough UCAS points to go to University.
@MuhibAldyn
there is a misunderstanding which leads Hussam to find the argument disrespectful.
the misunderstanding lays upon defining perfection and is clarified through the Maturidi framework on black theodicy which even Ibn al-Qayyim agrees with.
i didn’t manage to do my A levels because i was abroad during Covid-19, the country i was in was on alert. I had to miss a year of my life whilst all my friends were doing their A-levels.
@maybeAmani
Dr. Al Bouti’s work is great too but if you was to read it then make sure to get the latest edition as he has an important Q&A section from journalists at the end of it
@Asmongold
Saying “my bad” is not apologising
Be a MAN and apologise for your comments
And even when you do apologise, demonstrate to your audience that you have actually tried to educate yourself on what is going on.
Otherwise you are just apologising to evidently save face.
@maybeAmani
This was one of the first books I read when I was interested in Islamic war ethics
It is a great work but I believe there is room for development and more deeper research in very specific questions
مع طبعا تعظيمي للإمام الجليل والعالم الكبير فضيلة الدكتور وهبة الزحيلي
@VividProwess
You are disgusting
Implicitly trying to justify the genocide of civilians based on books which were planted by your globally hated army of oppression and injustice
And those who do have MA’s in Theology and/or Philosophy yet spend their time arguing online put me off wanting to study it in University.
Is the only job prospect from Higher Education in these fields arguing like a man-child on this app and making clickbait YouTube videos?

@fahd_ibn_ala
Suspending hostilities is temporary and it is a means for the enemy to strengthen their military. The common theme in pre-modern international relations was that war is a common theme and is as regular as weather seasons (Neff, Stephen C. 2005.)
The College put pressure on us in doing two years worth of work in one year.
Whilst working towards that, they reduced our diploma from a National Extended Diploma to a National Diploma.

the common response on the Twitter Ash’ari script to this would be:
“OH BUT WHAT ABOUT IBN HAJAR WHO SAID THIS!”
at this point, this is where i realise that such a person is what we call a صحفي who doesn’t have a stable methodology and treats Islam like Catholicism.
whoever genuinely believes Hussam in that al-Maturidi’s argument on evil being a proof for the existence of God is “disrespectful” has actually disrespected our intelligence by trying to make us believe they have even read level 1 Maturidi creed.
@Hjuujkld
is “mehmet” in reality the real modernist for ignoring what scholars like Ibn al-Humam and his commentator Ibn Amir al-Hajj said about pragmatism in adopting different positions of scholars?
@IbnMahbub_
instead of presenting weak opinions in the school, why don’t you quote Ibn Abidin who demonstrated that the position which is in the primers and explanations is that they are Muslims?
@LeayAlKufi
@oxyoxyoxy_
the difference is clear, Ibn Hajar has the right to make such criticisms because he is عظيم القدر
he has the academic capabilities to make such a judgement which is his own ijtihad. he can afford to take this risk because he is doing it based on solidified knowledge.
i had to go to a terrible College and do a BTEC, due to how unprofessional they were, we constantly had supply tutors who didn’t have a clue what they were doing.
The course was two years, after the first year we pretty much did nothing.
@Alashmw4143Abn
@fahd_ibn_ala
Just read the chapter on suspending hostilities, it’ll be clear. The legal theory is all connected together.
باب الموادعة
This is what it is usually called in Hanafi texts, so it’s worth reading. Not only from Ali al-Qari but from other manuals like al-Hidaya.
i don’t usually speak on such topics on this app but i do think it’s important to summarise the recent drama on al-Maturidi utilising the existence of evil as a proof of God’s existence
As promised:
although I don’t usually engage in such trivialities, I will be making an exception and explaining the “issue” and so-called “disrespect” tomorrow.
tomorrow, you’ll see how the detractors of al-Maturidi don’t understand the categorisation of حسن and قبح into 3.
Very excited to learn either Hebrew or Greek starting from next year in University
Every University from my choices offer Hebrew and Greek modules as apart of the degree
The question I have to think about is.. what language should I pick?😅

Would appreciate some help if you guys could send me your Email’s or contact
I’m extremely enthusiastic about this and I believe my Personal Statement is unique but I want the approval of respected elders like yourselves who have experience.
@oxyoxyoxy_
@LeayAlKufi
the response is quite simple to be fair
when a *layman* is confronted with two opposing opinions on disparage and praise then he should recognise his worth and shut his mouth out of respect for knowledge and it’s people.
you can say he was wrong on X but disparage is arrogance.
@h02br
I saw that video on TikTok, it was actually quite interesting. I wrote a short thread with my thoughts about it but sometimes it’s better to stay silent.
@IbnMahbub_
i don’t care what political affiliations you hold or whatever
but when it comes to speaking about the hanafi school, the truth must be presented just how it is in the books and what the verifying scholars say.
@Mufti_Muhammad_
It was very immature of some people to comment negatively about these big ulema and question their hikmah in attending these conferences. Young blood is quick to judge and slow to understand the experience of our kibaar ulema. May Allah preserve Mufti Sahab.

it’s isnad being weak means nothing because:
1. it is famously attributed to Abu Muti’
2. Abu Muti’ is just expressing a conversation between him and his teacher
Hammad’s Fiqh al-Akbar is weak and should be rejected for other reasons though.

@HanifTheSchizo
Hanif needs to be given a taste of his own medicine
When I see him, I’ll make sure to administrate it to him in my own ways.
since i can’t apply for Oxford and Cambridge at the same time, which university should i apply for as my first option?
I’ve checked the modules and professors on board for both and they both seem equal to me

Classical Muslim scholars recognised that the political landscape was built upon war being the norm and peace being an exception. They drafted the principle of reciprocity based on the aim of War and it is wielding off the harm of the enemy.
@mobiusdisk

yes of course i literally just said that and then you put this comment
don’t worry it’s not as graphic as it is in the movies;)

We see this reality on the ground being used for drafting rulings. For example, Abu Hanifa’s judgement on prisoner exchanges and setting the prisoner free.
@DrShoaibAM
Thank you so much Dr. Shoaib, I truly appreciate it.
I will have my statement sent over as soon as possible. Congratulations also on your new role at Edinburgh, I truly wish you all the best.
@IbnMahbub_
simply quoting Ibn Kamal Pasha won’t cut it, the madhhab is what is in the primers and the primers don’t agree with this verdict.
this is not how you acquire Hanafi fiqh, you don’t just quote one or even a few scholars saying that X or Y are disbelievers
this is صحفي behaviour
@oxyoxyoxy_
@LeayAlKufi
you have the likes of Mar’i al-Karmi and other major figures writing books about IT and praising him
Yet you find some filthy layman حقير Twitter Ashari takfeering him who would get slapped in their faces and humiliated irl
(This isn’t in reference to our brother Leay)
“I probed the hidden depths of my soul and wrung its pitiful secrets from it, and when I mustered them all before the eyes of my heart, a great storm broke within me, bringing with it a great deluge of tears.”
Augustine of Hippo
Augustine of Hippo on the importance of reflection:
“I must now carry my thoughts back to the abominable things I I did in those days, the sins of the flesh which defiled my soul. I do this, my God, not because I love those sins, but so that I may love you.
note: not all reasons of the law can be known, so even if a wisdom is something which is hidden to us then submission is an obligation.
the same way the angels did not know the wisdom of God placing successive authorities on earth yet we understand the wisdom now.

I remember when you first announced this a long time ago
I was very excited back then and I’m excited about it now too
Will we be blessed with the good news of it being published soon?😇

I can see the impact of that study in my own self and it makes sense
I just feel a sense of achievement and happiness from it and I want it to be like a set of domino’s that can make me actually want to go the library and get work done
May Allah bless you too🙏
