@Haddadiyyah @AmzBoogie @mulllahammad Believing Abu Talib died on Iman is one issue they may have. I wasn’t necessarily talking about this issue, but their Manhaj generally. Many Habaib hold to this opinion. Not saying all Barelwis would or should have a prob, but the more zealous of them may have issues.

@HanafiMuwahhid @mulllahammad His stances are not dodgy, but this is one of his anomalous ones, sure.

@AmzBoogie @mulllahammad They don’t study there though, and if more knew about their manhaj, they probably wouldn’t see them in the best light.

@safwanSpiker7 He agrees with Khayrabadi, but just adds extra. But I must ask, why would his statement be an issue if he affirmed DS?

Ibn Ajiba asserts that God’s being with us through His knowledge does not exclude His being with us in His Essence; rather, it affirms it. He also states that the scholars of Egypt reached a ijma‘ on ma‘iyyah [i.e. togetherness] being by His Essence.

One such case is that when God says that He is with His creation, He is present with His creation in reality and not through His knowledge and power as the mutakallimūn say based on their tāwil of this verse that is a result of their ghulāw in the tanzih of Allah.
