@akberuddin It does... being present with knowledge is being present only in certain aspect and not all aspects that constitute His reality. Not to mention, the ambiguity in the view of being present with knowledge based on how one understands God’s attributes and knowledge of creation.

@namelessfard @abuatiyyah_ The Greatest Master. al is used for The. so, it's linguistically okay.

@abuatiyyah_ Ibn is not a direct part of his name. His name is “Muhammad”, Ibn Ali Ibn Muhammad... is added after that for his parental lineage from father side. And linguistically, there is nothing wrong with 'al' for Shaykh al-Akbar since he is of Arab origin. Now, stop wasting my time.

@namelessfard @abuatiyyah_ Well, linguistically, there is nothing wrong with al for Shaykh al-Akbar since he is also of Arab origin. The convention is just an opinion. The real issue here was him saying that I pronounced it wrongly.

@FakeFulan If the fire is stripped of its essential property, it stops being the fire, as per peripatetic understanding of essences and causes. Meanwhile the miracle is that when God commanded fire, it admitted coldness while still being a fire nonetheless.

@abuatiyyah_ Who are you trying to teach? Ibn al-‘Arabi is a short form of his arabic name with diacritics. Ibn signifies parental lineage and al signifies the ethnic origins. His real name was Muhammad. Now sit back.
