When Jay & Nas squashed their beef and sat down with Sway for an interview, during the interview Sway started to quote lines from the battle, and Nas wanted NO parts of it! ☠️🤣 And this line was from “Takeover”where Jay was only alluding to what he had up his sleeve…

The verses dedicated to Kanye and Wale got all the attention. But what stands out to me right now, given the current events, is the last verse in which he’s talking about himself. A profound and honest message to himself, and his supporters. J. Cole - False Prophets

In TWENTY YEARS since the Roc breakup, Dame has accomplished nothing. All because he couldn’t move on with his life and get over the split Every time he talks he validates the fact that Jay made the right move by distancing himself from him All he does is tarnish the Roc legacy

There’s a million stories of Hov/Roc Nation taking action in situations like this. Pro bono. Producing documentaries shining light on these issues. Changing laws that target minorities. Bailing people out. Prosecuting law enforcement But he’s a “sell out” that “sold his soul” 🤦🏾‍♂️

Nothing Nas said about Jay could really hurt Jay. It was mostly lies and corny gay jokes. The things Jay said about Nas were personal and true. Those hit different. When Sway was about to start quoting lines Jay was sitting there fighting back a smile. He knew!🤣

#THREAD I’d like to share this little project I’ve been working on. As per my own personal knowledge, and research, these are the 15 producers that Jay-Z has collaborated with for at least 5 official songs.

@TheRocSupremacy LL has always had a weird energy towards Hov. Hov has always spoken highly of LL. Gives him his props and respect, and credits him as an early inspiration. But I don’t believe LL respects Hov for the icon that he is. And Hov getting that Def Jam presidency over him didn’t help

Think about how great, and confident you have to be, to create one of the best Rap songs ever, use it as the lead single to your DEBUT album, shoot a video for it, and when the album drops you don’t even include it in there. Why? Because you made a “part II” that’s JUST as great.

Hov is on his “Godfather” stage. Almost every rapper wants to have his ear. Get some advice, get some wisdom from him. And Hov embraces his position in Hip Hop. He shows love, support, and gives back in a multitude of ways. It doesn’t always have to be by collaborating on music.

Hate when Hov is called the goat for anything other than his music. Forget who he’s married to. Forget him being a billionaire. Forget his success as a businessman. Forget his impact and influence. Take it all away. He’s simply the greatest MC of all time because of his MUSIC.

His most ambitious album. 25 tracks. Blame Guru & Hip Hop for that. The only problem with this album is that it’s all over the place, no cohesion. But there’s a classic album somewhere on this tracklist. And I’m not talmbout “BP2.1”. Underrated album, plenty heat.

Stop the nonsense! PRODUCER Kanye West presented a beat and a hook to Jay-Z. Kanye also presented to Jay an idea and cadence for a bridge. Jay then came up with the verses and flow. Jay is literally rapping about personal stuff in that song. All Kanye did was PRODUCE a record

@JAY_Z_Daily @KevinHart4real As a fan of Jay, and him being my favorite artist, of course I want an album. I want a bunch more. But also as a fan of him as a man, I’m ok with whatever path he’s on. I definitely don’t want him making music just for the sake of making it. Live life and let inspiration find you

@SowmyaK I believe I know the tweet you’re referring to, and if so. This is a bad take. All she did was highlight that Dream is to Beyoncé what Quincy was to Michael. Which is true. That’s not comparing Dream to Quincy, that’s giving Dream the flowers he deserves.

They only do this shit with Beyoncé & Jay-Z. Everyone that passed would’ve been bigger than them if they didn’t die. Everyone that’s still around would be bigger than them if they didn’t sell their souls. It’s the dumbest shit in the world.

Hov & Nas have at least 50 records each that would be most rappers best 50 songs ever, but don’t even crack their own best 50 lol Those guys are in a class all by themselves when we talk best rappers ever.

@HipHopNumbers Love this album! “BRACKETS”, “Once an Addict”, FRIENDS”, and “Window Pain” are some of his best songs ever. Experimented with different flows and the production was more diverse this time around. And after his insane feature run post-“KOD”, I expect “The Fall Off” to be his best.

This was all about taking yet more shots at Jay. And taking shots at Irv. And he’s talking like his word meant anything when it came to Jay’s music. All these years later he’s still tryna act like he ran Jay. When CLEARLY that wasn’t the case. Dame is a cornball.
