@mattvaru If that doesn’t work out and you like walking or running, I really enjoyed the pedestrian bridge tour. It takes you over seven bridges and through historic neighborhoods. I highly recommend if it’s a nice day.

@heyderekj @joshbrown @rileyj_s I'm probably a little/much older than you all, but we've been dealing with this for some time. America has lost its way for years, and we are currently seeing the bandaid ripped off. Reagan sums all of this up here...

It reminds me of when President Ronald Reagan, upon taking his first oath of office, declared in 1981: "In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem." Over the years we’ve lost our way. Ripping the bandaid off, while it hurts, can be so freeing. Good times are right around the corner.

You’re quoting a news outlet that publicly says they have no interest in being Trump’s friend :) No matter where you stand, and I’m not trying to get in a political debate, the $$$ earmarked for condoms was stopped from going out. I wasn’t talking about what was done in the past. The whole goal is to stop wasteful tax money spending which I’m all for, and would think the majority of America would be to. Here’s another liberal leaning outlet talking about the condom issue.

I think a lot are jumping to conclusions before anything is actually done. I completely understand trying to get a grip on what’s out there before making a decision, and this is what they seem to be doing. I would give it so time, then agree/disagree when more specifics are provided. If you want to see what the press sec said today on this, start around minute 30 or 31 here:

Contrary to what some news stations are reporting, current programs providing benefits are not being stopped, so people are still receiving what has been promised to them. That being said, the admin is looking under the hood to make sure excessive spending is not being made. Just today the administration stopped $50 million in US taxpayer’s $$$ going to pay for condoms in Gaza. You can’t make this stuff up.
