@DarciFletcher I‘be had many disagreements with Mike/Ihop’s teaching for +/-10 years. A lot of it was openhanded stuff, some of it was more concerning. But over the last several months, I’ve become certain that he is a wolf in sheep’s clothing and a deceiver.

There is no motive other than to faithfully preach the gospel and serve people.

@riper_van1739 @ihopkc I definitely understand. I think isolation is an enemy in the long run, but I absolutely understand what exposed nerve endings feel like. This is a remarkably complex and painful thing to navigate. Not everyone will respond the same way. It requires patience and wisdom.

@BenHoogterp Prophecy is true or false. Mike created a system where it was OK to be wrong. In the Old Testament, you were stoned for being wrong. I’m not saying there’s not grace when we miss the mark, but there is no fear of the Lord when you look at the track record.

@BenHoogterp I was born & raised in charismatic prophetic culture. I’m not a secessionist. I believe God still speaks with all my heart. And I think lord of people like me were preyed upon by Mike Bickle. He knew their desire would outweigh their discernment if he promised the right things.
