there is a thread on the legacy subreddit about d&t right now and looking at some of the decklists people have posted i am starting to understand why people think this deck is bad, if these are the people they're playing against.

Organized play was the value added proposition for using real cards and not sharpies, and so much of the game surrounding that comes from that baseline. (from a chat with a friend, discussing the prize cut/OP shit).

I don't really have an issue with Secret Lairs in general, or whatever this is from, but this is unrecognizable. If this isn't actually considered some sort of exploitation, it's close enough to me and I wish cards like this weren't legal in tournament play

Six years ago, I won GP Seattle-Tacoma, and thanked my dad in the winner's interview. I miss you dad, and always thank you for the teachings re: decision making/living life, etc. (I tried to track down the winner's interview from that GP but was unable to do so).

I have been playing magic since 1994 & have done my share of winning in higher level legacy. Not 1 player have I seen that would run a mv5 creature in dt. The only reason Kc & bskull are in the deck is due to the fact you can cheat it in quickly. You're clearly a newer player.

I’m baffled how the 22 land 4 one ring 4 raptor deck functions. I found the deck to be short a land even without the one ring only deck. Then you run into the issue of increasing the number of awkward raptor hits even with 3 energy.
